Moorooduc Quarry / Mount Eliza - 5KM Moderate/Easy with steps

Moorooduc Quarry is a nice walk, which is shortish, but has lots of big stairs for a short time. It’s not technical. GREAT VIEW at the climax. Grade 2. You’ll love it..

PLAN:
Meet up at the carpark at:
106 Two Bays Rd Mount Eliza VIC 3930, Australia (use google Maps). Do the walk, and return.. We’ll do the quarry first, then move on to other stuff..

EQUIPMENT
No technical equipment is required.
* Hiking shoes. Warm socks.. Sneakers ok. There might be a bit of mud though..
* Layered clothing.
* Trekking poles (if you’re into that kind of thing)
* Food
* Water.
* Toilet paper.. Not sure if we’ll pass any toilets (they’re on the other side)
* I’ll bring a first aid kit, but it doesn’t hurt to bring extra’s.
* Don’t overpack your bag, and don’t wear tight pants (unless they’re activewear). Your knees will hurt and you’ll get tired if they’re tight and don’t flex well..

RISK MANAGEMENT:
You’ll all get thermometered beforehand. Not much risk management required 🙂 IF you have joint problems, do NOT come (the stairs will be a problem)

This is considered Grade 2. We don’t need GPS. And we have cell reception..
