Mason’s Falls is an amazing waterfall with a nice viewing platform located near Kinglake Victoria. This circuit walk takes you between the lyrebird walk, summit of Mt Sugarloaf and the Mason falls viewing platform. It takes approximately 3-3.5hrs, has an elevation climb total of 600m and is 14.6km long. If you want to speed things up a bit, you can shave 1.5km from the track by skipping past the Mt Sugarloaf turnoff.
The walk isn’t too difficult, however, we recommend having GPS to assist with navigation.
Follow the lyrebird walk to Running Creek Track and the Mason’s falls Viewing platform. Follow it all the way until turning right to the Mt Sugarloaf Summit (which you can identify by the road loop). Return back, and follow the Mt Sugarloaf Ridge Track to Wallaby track, and back to Lyrebird track back to the beginning.
